1. Acceptance

By accessing seamus.app or using the SEAMUS product, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the website or product.

2. Website Use

The seamus.app website provides information about the SEAMUS product, documentation, and a trial signup form. You may use the website for lawful purposes related to evaluating, purchasing, or using SEAMUS.

3. Product License

Use of the SEAMUS software product is governed by the SEAMUS Professional License Agreement, which is a separate agreement provided with the product distribution. These website Terms do not replace or modify the product license.

4. Email Signup

By submitting your email address through the trial signup form, you consent to receive communications from Seamus Solutions LLC regarding the SEAMUS product, including trial information, product updates, and marketing. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting hello@seamus.app. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on seamus.app, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Seamus Solutions LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. SEAMUS™ is a trademark of Seamus Solutions LLC.

The open-source scanning tools referenced on the website (Amass, Nuclei, ZAP, naabu, Uptime Kuma) are the property of their respective owners and are used under their respective open-source licenses. See the LEGAL.md file (included with the product distribution) for per-component license details and attribution.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and all content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

SEAMUS is a security monitoring tool, not a guarantee of security. The presence or absence of findings does not constitute a security assessment or certification. Always engage qualified security professionals for critical security decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seamus Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or product, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or security incidents.

8. Authorized Scanning

SEAMUS performs active network scanning, port enumeration, vulnerability testing, and web application security testing. You must only scan systems you own or have explicit written authorization to test. Unauthorized scanning may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030) and similar laws. Seamus Solutions LLC is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your use of SEAMUS to scan unauthorized systems.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
